La profusion de programmes cache souvent des petites merveilles sur internet. SubSync en fait partie. Si vous vous êtes essayé à calibrer des sous-titres, votre calvaire est terminé.
L’énumération des possibilités qu’offre SubSync serait trop longue, en quelques mots : il fait tout ce que ses voisins font, et il le fait d’une meilleure façon, beaucoup plus fiable et beaucoup plus facilement.
Fonctionnalités - Load and save different subtitle (caption) formats (and consequently, convert by loading one format and saving as another): SubRip (.srt), MicroDVD (different extensions used, sometimes .sub) en SAMI (.smi), plus probably more in the future... - Edit caption text. - Adjust title starting times and durations per subtitle, or per selected range of subtitles, or for the entire file: move forward or backward in time, stretch and shrink, adjust to different frame rates, auto-adjust based on the desired starting times of 2 different titles... - Insert and delete subtitles (and in combination with the other features, split a single subtitle file in parts, in case the accompanied medium is split up in multiple files). - Play the media (avi, mp3, mpeg...) or any selection with captioning to check the result. - Play the media while the user adjusts position and duration of each title by simply pressing the space bar (or any other key) when it should be shown, and keeping it pressed as long as it should remain visible. - This is a slightly modified version of Media Player, that can show captions along with the normal media for every type the standard media player can show: AVI, MPEG, MP3... For this purpose the captions must be present in the same directory as the media file, in SAMI format and having the same file name as the media file. Example: if the media file is "film.avi", the caption file must be called "film.smi".
Version 0.2.15 du 19/05/2008 - Fixed error occurring on systems where the default decimal point separator is a comma: frame rates 29.9xx had to be entered manually or they would be truncated to 29. - Added buttons to the (individual title) edit window for easy switching to/from bold and italic in SAMI subtitles. - Made the (individual title) edit window resizable.
