GroundWiz Lite 1.920

GroundWiz is all about terrain. It is a procedural 3d terrain map that can be used as a diffuse map, a bump map or for that matter, any other map type. It uses fractal algorithms to generate terrain textures and mimic real-life terrain. When you are creating terrain maps, transitions between different materials are hard to control with tools that pre-existing applications offer. Typical blending methods of mixing two or more materials don't give realistic results. That is where GroundWiz comes into action. Numerous controls give users the ability to control the look of terrain materials while seamlessly integrating into 3ds max workflow.

GroundWiz Lite :
This version of GroundWiz is free for personal use for unlimited time. It is fully functional version with the following limitations: maximum 5 layers can be rendered at the same time and layers cannot use images (or any other standard 3ds max map) as layer color. You are free to distribute this version in any way desired (for companies doing mass distribution or charging for it, please read license agreement in the help file.). We believe this version is still very powerful and we encourage you to see online gallery where many of the images were created with it and to also check '.max' scene files that come with this version. GroundWiz now fully supports 3ds max 9 (32 and 64 bit versions). 3ds max 5 is not supported any more, GroundWiz is currently compatible with 3ds max 6, 7, 8, 9 (32 bits & 64 bits), 3ds Max 2008, 3ds Max 2009 (32 bits & 64 bit) and 3ds Max Design 2009 / VIZ 2007, 2008, 3ds Max 2010 (32 bits & 64 bit), 3ds Max Design 2010, 3ds Max 2011 et 3ds Max Design 2011, 3ds Max 2012, 3ds Max Design 2012, 3ds Max 2013, 3ds Max Design 2013, 3ds Max 2014, 3ds Max 2015, 3ds Max Design 2014, 3ds Max Design 2015.

- 3ds Max 2012 comes with a new viewport renderer called Nitrous. Nitrous greatly enhances the quality of visuals and redraw speed in real-time viewport. GroundWiz 1.800 fully supports Nitrous viewport display and comes with a few settings to let user adjust GroundWiz Planter display in viewports.
- Bug fixes and improved stability especially when working with mental ray renderer. Mental ray shader has been improved to handle larger scenes better.
