FreeRip MP3 permet d'extraire des pistes d'un CD audio afin de les enregistrer directement sur votre disque dur. Et ce, sans passer par la carte son.

Vous pouvez ainsi sauvegarder vos morceaux favoris sous forme de fichiers Wave, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, ou MP3. FreeRip MP3 encode également dans ces deux derniers formats des fichiers Wave 16 bits existants.

L’accès à la base FreeDB est assuré ainsi que l’édition de tags ID3. FreeRip MP3 inclut une possibilité d’installation du plug-in Ogg Vorbis pour Winamp.

Cette version présente l’avantage de ne plus être parrainée par la publicité. Remarque : L’unité CD-ROM doit supporter l’extraction de l’audio numérique.
